I know the big news is the Gears collection coming out in a few weeks, but we also decided to re-release Short Lean Cuts with a new cover as well as a new, more accurate blurb. Since SLC was self-released, there was no bureaucratic nonsense stopping us from improving the novella. Neil Hopkins, a good friend and supporter, came up with a fantastic blurb, which I felt really pinned down the subject matter of the story. We changed the fonts and the sizes throughout, and we found a more appropriate cover photo…thanks much CDC!

Many thanks to all the people who have bought this little book and have reviewed it. Without word of mouth, I wouldn’t be able to sell one copy. I owe you all…a little soft-shoe, or maybe my version of the Running Man. Maybe not.
