(Petrosian. Cobbler, Yerevan City, Armenia)
they don’t make shoes in america
what i mean they do but they don’t fix them
(i tell him he’s right the first time they don’t make shoes in america)
and he laughs true yes america is made in china
they don’t fix nothing in america
(i tell him he’s right the second time they don’t fix nothing in america)
and he laughs and this is why there’s no life for me in america
(i tell him he’s right the third time there’s no life for him in america)
i work in a small cabin and i fix shoes he says
and that’s it
that’s all

see, now..i’m glad you clarified. because with a few punctuation edits it could read nice and sarcastic like this:

“Damn, your writing is so good. (It always sucks.)”
    –My own words.

Georgie is, sadly, dead. Ryan is still doing the weather, last I checked. And why is “Jim Vance” posting a comment on this piece from North Carolina with a Doreen Gentzler email address?
