21 May

The early 80s in Washington D.C. were exciting times. Crack-addicted streets, murders, a mayor that easily outshenanigans Toronto’s Rob Ford, a broken education system, severely tweaked infrastructure, and curiously…Poland’s Solidarity movement visible to all of us riding the metro Orange line out of the Maryland ‘hoods and into the city.

Thanks to the fine people at The Prague Revue, here’s my little tribute to Lech Walesa, Poland, and the Murder Capital of the World as it was known in those lovely turbulent years.
